Terms & Conditions for Participants

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the participation in the Ndwendwe Drama Club - Auditions ("NDW-Auditions"). By submitting any materials (including but not limited to audio recordings, videos, podcasts, scripts, performances, and presentations), you agree to be bound by these terms.

These auditions are not a contract of employment, nor do they guarantee any form of employment, role, or position within Ndwendwe Drama Club.

2. Eligibility

Participation is open to individuals applying for the following roles:

  • Actors & Actresses
  • Comedians
  • Storytellers
  • Musicians
  • Dancers
  • Stage Managers
  • Scriptwriters
  • Stylists & Makeup Artists
  • Lighting Engineers
  • Assistant Managers

By participating, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent if under 18.

3. Submission of Materials

  • All submissions, including videos, audio files, podcasts, scripts, performances, and presentation materials, must be original work created by the participant.
  • Submissions must be sent in the required format as specified by NDW-Auditions.
  • By submitting, you acknowledge that NDW-Auditions will not return any submitted materials under any circumstances.
  • Submitted materials become the property of NDW-Auditions and may be used for audition assessment, promotional activities, training, or future reference.

4. Ownership & Rights

  • Participants waive any claim of ownership over the submitted materials once they are provided to NDW-Auditions.
  • NDW-Auditions has the right to store, copy, reproduce, modify, and use submitted materials for non-commercial purposes, including but not limited to promotional and archival use.
  • Participants agree that NDW-Auditions is not liable for any third-party usage of the submitted materials.

5. Confidentiality & Conduct

  • Participants must not disclose any confidential information about the audition process, scripts, or other club-related materials.
  • Any misconduct, including plagiarism, harassment, or unprofessional behavior, may lead to immediate disqualification from the audition process.

6. No Guarantee of Selection

  • Submitting materials does not guarantee selection or progression to the next audition stage.
  • NDW-Auditions reserves the right to reject any submission without providing specific reasons.
  • Decisions made by NDW-Auditions are final and binding, with no room for appeal.

7. Media & Publicity

  • NDW-Auditions reserves the right to use participants’ names, images, and submitted work for publicity purposes related to the auditions.
  • By participating, you grant NDW-Auditions permission to use your likeness in promotional materials, social media, and marketing campaigns.

8. Liability Disclaimer

  • NDW-Auditions is not responsible for any loss or damage to submitted materials.
  • NDW-Auditions is not liable for any injuries, damages, or claims arising from participation in the audition process.
  • Participants are responsible for their own safety, transportation, and expenses related to the audition.

9. Acceptance of Terms
